Masbia values any questions, comments, or suggestions you have about your experiences (or future ones) so that we can improve our organization. We want to perform the best we can so that we can continue to feed the hungry. There is always room for improvement and we want to give the best experience as possible for volunteers, those receiving a meal, and for donators.

    Today I had the most humiliating experience I ever had. Went to the queens location with a prior reservation to pick up pantry food. One of the distributing individual ( a Spanish guy) was extremely rude. This was my first time and experience looking for this type of help. Just to give a quick background, I’m a cancer patient and so my physical energy is limited. I got to the place after walking and walking trying to find the address and didn’t know I had to bring a bag to carry all the food and; so a very nice young Jewish guy who was also working there gave me a box. The Spanish guy started to yell at me and him saying that it would be the last time he will give me a box. Once I got the box, He yells again telling me to hurry in putting the food inside the box and he didn’t want the young Jewish boy to help me. I think that the boy felt sorry for me and continued helping me. It was very humiliating. This person made me feel so bad and so despised that I burst into tears and left without the box because I couldn’t carry it due to my medical condition. The Hispanic man threatened me saying that he was going to block me so that I could not look for more food there. I want you all to know that this was the treatment I received for going to look for food for the first time in my life.

    I will always remember the best of Samaritans, that young Jewish boy. God bless him

    The put in the system that I was served, but I left without food so I was not serve… I was just served with a very humiliating and sad experience. Good luck

    How can I reserve for tomorrow dec 17th coz it doesn’t let me get in coz I miss my reservation yesterday at 12:20 coz I had a doctors appointment at 1pm. How can I reserve again.I called the tel. No but voice prompt,doesn’t help at all.thanks

    I was at your pantry on Tuesday at 9:30 am to pick up food for my sister while standing in line the man behind me didn’t have on a mask when it was my turn I then stepped to the side because the man was talking to the man behind and he was literally talking over my shoulder.The worker told me to get back in line and I said no because I’m social distancing and the man behind me doesn’t have on a mask I also stated look at the signs on the wall I’m doing what they say . He yelled at me to get back in line and then said he was gonna put something in my record. I asked for the manager and he said he’s not here I asked for his name and he said Larenza then he laughed as I walked away saying that’s not my name . I do not appreciate being berated or humiliated or verbally abused by this man as I have been a victim of and witnessed happen to other people.We should be treated with dignity and respect while enduring these hard times . I would appreciate if Mr Diaz will contact me as soon as possible or I will have to go to the corporate office in Brooklyn with my concerns.After reading other people’s comments I’m not the only one who feels this way and these issues must be addressed Thankyou

    I appreciate all the food given out at the Food Pantry in Forest Hills. My problem as I stated before is, I get the message to set up an appointment at around 12:30 and all the mornings slots are taken. Can we get messages before 12:30 PM so I and other people can schedule morning or afternoon appointments. I can’t go out at the 6:00 time. Thanks.

    I sign up text for next appointment for pantry n I must have gotten at least 5 available texts but I was unable to to select any of the options..there might b a bugin the system

    My name is Irene I went todayI treated so badly by Natalie she was a horrible person and I don’t like her the way she treated me today like a mad dog I would like to get rid of her in that location in Forest Hills and I hope you respond to me she should be removed from that location for good with me absolutely awfully awfully awfully and I should not be treated like that!!!

    Masbia of Queens, your mission and what you do is great. How its done is terrible! You are claiming that you have a huge network of volunteers and are treating your clients with respect is Bull. The reality is exact opposite, the dude who serves tables is alone, tired and puts only some stuff on the table. The lady who checks reservations with a laptop is rude and acts like a frustrated witch, barking and jumping at the clients and MUST be replaced with a normal person who can talk to clients normally. She threatened to call cops on my mother for no reason. All she does is spiting poison and barking at the clients. With volunteers like that you going to loose all your clients. Her attitude is the one you can get from a frustrated woman who doesn’t have a man in her life, which is her problem and must not be projected at her clients. Bord of directors, please take an action and make sure you allow only positive volunteers to deal with clients. Better one positive than 100 rude ones. There is no place for big mouth nasty attitude individuals at Masbia of Queens.

    Masbia of Queens Forest Hills location staff is rude and intimidating to some clients. A Ilittle Filipina big mouth lady is barking at clients and threatening to call cops on them without any reason. If she doent have a man in her life is her problem and not clients. get a grip Yall, get a grip.

    HELLO AND THANK YOU BUT I REALLY DO,NT UNDERSTAND ALWAYS WHY ALL THE TIME I HAVE TO SEND YOU GUYS EMAILS THAT EVERY TIME I WANT TO MAKE A RESERVATION IT KEEPS TELLING ME IS FULL . I KEEP RECEIVING TEXT FORM YOU BUT WHEN I APPLY IT SAY IS FULL . AM SORRY BUT THIS IS AWFUL . UN BELIEVABLE . ITS BEEN OVER ONE MONTHS .
